Boutineer Roses

Okay, so I'm a little excited because I just found this new video. The video is about how to make rosebuds, but they really look like the boutineer roses. The roses that normally you would see on a guys tux at a wedding or something. I'm so excited to have found it that I couldn't wait to share it with you. For any of you creative people or planning people, this would be a great idea for you to try to make for your special event.

I think I have found what I am using in my wedding! Add a little bit of small white flowers and these will be perfect! I hope you like them.

Who needs Photoshop!?!

Hey y'all.  I just thought I'd let you know about Photo Editing.  So many of us are always looking for a way to edit our pictures without it costing us too much to do it.  Well there is away.  My teacher, Mrs. Ellis, told our class about a photo editing site, Picnik.  Its so easy and fun to use!  Its great for scrapbooking or editing pictures for Christmas cards (or other holiday cards).  I love to edit some of my photos on there (I should use it more before I post pictures on here...lol)! You can fade parts of your pictures, add borders, recolor them and even do basic manipulation like cropping.  It's AWESOME! It can't do as much as Photoshop, but you can still make a boring picture POP!  Just look at what you can and could do.  The best thing about Picnik, is that it's FREE!  Yay!

These are just a few pictures that I did using Picnik!  I hope you try it and like it as much as I did!

Creativity in Food!

Okay, I really, I mean REALLY like food, and the same thing gets old fast so I thought I would post a pizza recipe that is easy to make, fun, and creative!  My mom taught me how to make this.

New Orleans Style French Bread Pizza
First, the ingredients.
You will need:

1/2 loaf of French bread
1 jar of your favorite Pizza Sauce
1 bag of Cheese (buy/use what you like in the cheese; I like lots of cheese and I prefer only Mozzarella)
and your choice of Toppings (Peperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Olives, Onion, etc....)

Start by cutting your 1/2 loaf of French Bread in half length ways.

Next, spread a thin coat of pizza sauce over each side of the bread.
It doesn't have to be perfect :)

Then add your cheese (lots if your like me) :)

Last, add all the toppings that you have chosen to use (I used Peperoni, Canadian Bacon, and Regular Bacon)

I cook mine in an electric oven on 350 degrees for about 10 minutes and its done.  Just check it to make sure your cheese melts but don't leave it in too long or the bottom will be tough to bite through.  I hope you all try my recipe and enjoy it.  It's no backwoods BBQ, but it sure is good!

How to make Ribbon Roses

As many of you know I am going to start planning a wedding soon so I have been looking for anything that can/will help me save money while planning it.  I have recently been looking for ways to make my bouqets for me and my bridesmaids.  I thought that maybe ribbon may be fairly cheap if I can find it at a good price so I went looking for videos on how to make ribbon roses/flowers.  I found this one and I really like how she does it.  I uploaded the video from youtube.com and here is the link if you want to look it up your self  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSafZ2Se6bM

I know its not the best video out there, but it's pretty good and serves it purpose. I hope you all enjoy it like I did!
