Almost Easter

I'm so excited that Easter is just around the corner.  Fun with the family and lots of food!  :)  Also, this is a great time to find some crafts to do with the kids while they are on their Spring Break.  We all know that kids can't wait to get messy with the egg dye so after the dying of the eggs is over, find something new for them to dye.  Use some coffee filters, or tissue, and have them very lightly dye that and make beautiful Easter bouquets for a center piece for dinner or place as decor in you house on any table, in any vase and add some ribbons to make them really stand out.  Also make sure to have some colorful pipe cleaners on hand (I know that the picture shows straws, but pipe cleaners work better.)  There's no glue involved in making these just and imagination and fun!

My Crafts

I am in the process of editing my crafts page.  So far I have added a slide show of some of my Christmas Stockings.  Go check them out!  :)

Next, I will be adding some of my etched glass projects.  The etched glass is a beautiful piece to get as gifts for every occasion.  They are great favors for wedding parties, bridal shower gifts, baby shower favors, graduation presents, great prizes or give-a-ways for any party you have.  They are also beautiful if you just want something elegant around your house as decoration.  The etched glass projects I have done so far have been vases and glasses, but I can put etchings on glass candle holders, picture frames, dishes, mirrors, etc.  Just about anything that is glass can be etched.

Cute Birthday Invites for Children

Graduation is coming up soon and I wasn't going to walk, but I have a very displeased brother when I told him of my decision.  So I decided to walk.  Anyway, I want to make a few invitations for graduation to send out to close friends and family, but I don't like plain, boring printed ones so I went to youtube.com to get a few ideas on how hand make a few different styles of invitations and I came across a video with someone showing how to make cute birthday invitations for children birthdays.

This was some information that was on youtube.com with the video that I thought would be good for you to see.

Communication Technology 1st Post

We finally got our blogs started. I'm so excited to be able to begin! My blog will be all about crafts and creativity. I am currently in the process of trying to start my own business, Jesstastic Creations, so I hope that this will help to promote ideas and products.  I scrapbook, etch glass, make holiday stocking & ornaments, and I am also hoping to begin "no-sew" projects.  I'm so excited to begin my blog so comment or leave suggestions.  I am also posting a picture of one of my glass etch projects.  Tinkerbell on a birthday cupcake holding a candle.

I finally got my font!

I finally got my font "waterfalls" to work as the header for all my posts.  Now I would love to see the content of my posts be able to change.  I can't wait for tomorrow when I get back to Communication Technology so I can learn more about blogs.  I know when I'm finished learning, Mrs. Ellis will have taught me all she can and the rest will be left up to me!

The Start of My BLOG!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I am currently still working out the kinks; I've never done a blog before. I'm so excited to be doing this. I love to do arts and crafts so that is what my blog is going to be about. If you have an suggestions or comments about what I can, should, or did post please post and let me know. Eventually, I want to create a blog called the 3 C's of my life (or something along the lines of that). I love Creativity, Crafts, and Cooking! So that is what it will be based on. I'm so excited, so let me get this rolling!
